Pixiesmith is a high-fashion studio built on a countdown. Inspired by the 78 cards of the tarot deck, they produce exactly 78 finite collections—then close. Named for Pamela Coleman Smith, the uncredited artist behind the Rider-Waite deck whose work became one of the most reproduced images in history, the brand is a reclamation: of her name, her symbolism, and the idea that clothing can carry genuine consequence.
We built the pixiesmith-theme to hold the weight of that premise. The digital storefront needed to feel like an artifact in its own right—a space where mysticism and editorial restraint coexist without friction. By designing a custom theme architecture around intentional scarcity and symbolic typography, we created a platform that doesn't just sell garments but communicates their meaning. A finite brand deserves a site that feels like it was made to last exactly as long as it should.
